Roberta "Bobbie" Lu (Huettl-Kuzik) Bartz, 72, of Sheboygan Falls, was granted her wings on Saturday October 6, 2012.

She was born in Menomonee, MI on December 5th, 1939. Bobbie graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha, then went on to UW-Kenosha, University of Puget Sound Tacoma and various studies at DePaul and Loyola. In 1969, she married and shared an exciting life with Edward J. Kuzik of Kenosha. Later in life, she found her rock in the late James A. Bartz of Racine and they were joined in holy matrimony in 1987.

Believing she was not meant to stay in one career for too long, she sampled many opportunities including being a flight attendant for TWA, Executive Secretary for the Attorney General, owning several business and being a beloved teacher at Racine Lutheran High School. Bobbie also believed in giving back wherever she could. Although she volunteered at numerous organizations, the two closest to her heart were the Racine County Sheriff's Substation and the Wisconsin Organ Donor Network.

It's fair to say Bobbie had a true passion for life and never missed a chance try something new. She loved to race anything with wheels, skydive, ski, bowl, golf, shoot pool and travel. She made US history in 2003 when she received the first ABO incompatible blood type kidney transplant along with a heart transplant in 1994. In 1999, she was honored by the YMCA with the Woman of Courage Award. Her other reason for living was her granddaughter, Bobbi, whom she never passed up an opportunity to spoil.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter & fiance, Dawn Kuzik-Donohue and Michael Rick of Sheboygan, granddaughter Roberta "Bobbi" Donohue of Sheboygan, grandson Shaun Donohue of Kentucky, sister and family Michel Sue Martin of Arizona, special family member Edward Kuzik Jr and numerous loving friends. We would like to give special thanks to the Mayo Clinic, VNA Hospice and to "Pat".
