Terrence McNulty, outdoorsman and land surveyor, passed away early this month at his home in Oceanside, California He is survived by his father, Michael; brothers, Byron and Kevin; sister, Christine; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many close friends. Terry was born in Duarte, California to proud parents, Michael and Shirley McNulty. The family lived in Arcadia, California for several years before moving to Ramona in 1972. Terry was active in Scouting and was interested in all things military. Terry graduated from Ramona High in 1981 and attended UC Davis where he majored in biochemistry. He worked for the family stucco business for several years until family friend and professional land surveyor Alton Barron introduced him to the land surveying trade. Eventually earning his Land Surveying license, Terry worked for several of the close-knit San Diego area land surveying firms for years. He spent the last ten years as a surveyor with the County of San Diego. He enjoyed hunting the high mountains of California and Colorado and fishing the deep blue waters of Baja, and he loved to tell the stories of the good times with his many close friends. He was truly a unique character, and will be missed but always remembered by his family and friends. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012.
