Thomas Bolt, 83, of Mansfield died at 9:00am Sunday, Dec. 13, 1936. He was born May 7, 1853 in Devonshire, England. He married Miss Mary Ann Penvose of Cornwall, England and to them four children were born. John Bolt, of Los Angeles, CA; Mrs. Rachel Jones, of Elmira, NY; William (deceased), Mrs. Alice Gardner, of Stanley, NY. About 55 years ago he brought his family to America and settled in Antrim. Mrs. Bolt died in 1882, and he married Elizabeth Wilkins. To them were born eight children, Mrs. Amanda Austin, of Mansfield; Mrs. Clara Cleveland of Lawrenceville, Mrs. Edith Collum, of Corning; Mrs. Evelyn Kingsley, of Elmira, NY; George Bolt, of Granville Summit; Edward, of Mainesville; Ernest, of Covington; and the Rev. Orey Bolt, of Randolf, NY. Mrs. Bolt died on May 29, 1920. Besides his children, he is survived by 25 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Wednesday, at 2:00pm by the Rev. David J. Griffiths. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield.
