OBITUARY:"Bert Graves, aged 38 years, died April 17 [1920]at the home of his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Gillette, near Mansfield [Tioga County, Pennsylvania], after a short illness of typhoid fever. He came to Mansfield from Youngstown, Ohio, about two weeks ago, being ill at the time. He was a member of the Odd Fellows' Lodge of Buffalo,[Erie County, N.Y.], of the Eagles Lodge of Buffalo and of the Brotherhood of Engineers and Firemen [sic; Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen], of Elmira [Chemung County], N.Y. He is survived by his widow and by two brothers and a sister, Acel [Asel] Graves, of Elmira; Leon Graves, of Chicago and Nina Smith, of Mansfield. Interment was made in Prospect cemetery, Mansfield, last week Tuesday at 2 p.m., the funeral services being conducted by Rev. L.M. Sparks of the Diciple [sic] church.
