"William Anthony, aged 77, of East Worcester, who served for eight years as Supervisor of the Town of Worcester, died November 21 at Cobleskill Community Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Anthony was born October 25, 1894 in Worcester, son of Emmett and Mary (Berner) Anthony. He married Carolyn Barrett. He had lived his entire life in East Worcester, where he was a member of the United Methodist Church and a former member of its official board. He was a veteran of World War I, a former member of Worcester Rotary Club and East Worcester Fish and Game Club. He owned and operated a radio and TV sales and service business in Worcester for many years, and later at his home. Surviving besides his wife are two sisters, Mrs. Emily Spencer, Worcester, Mass.; Mrs. Joseph Sekula, Detroit, Mich., and several nieces and nephews ...
