Dorothy, 89, of Ririe, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Homestead Assisted Living Center in Rigby.

She was born March 20, 1923, in Idaho Falls to Jesse Graham Clark and Mildred Frannie Gomez Clark. She was raised in Mud Springs, Ririe and Rigby; attended schools in Mud Springs; and graduated from Ririe High School. She contiued her education at Rick's College and Larsen's Buisness School in Idaho Falls.

On July 28, 1942, she married Jesse Merle Ferguson in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.

Dorothy worked in the Jefferson County Assessor's Office, retiring January 11, 1979. She served on the ririe Library Board and with the Ririe City Council. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She taught primary and served in the Relief Society.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting and gardening and was known for her beautiful peonies and homemade rasberry jam. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling to Arizona.

She is survived by a daughter, Janet Lindberg of Idaho Falls; sons, Jesse Thayne (Kathy) Ferguson of Salt Lake City and Brent (Anita) Ferguson of Ririe; sister, Marion (Ben) Bowen of Downey; nine gtrandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

She was proceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Charles Clark; and a grandson, Gerald Ferguson;
