Virginia L. (McChesney) Parker, 88, of Westfield, PA, died Thursday, December 22, 2016 in The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Born February 2, 1928 in Virginia Beach, VA, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Julia H. (Bell) McChesney. She was a 1947 Graduate of Oleana High School in Virginia. Virginia sold Avon cosmetics for over 50 years, was the Judge of Elections in Westfield, was a member of the Westfield Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of the Soldiers & Sailors Hospital Auxiliary. All that knew Virginia know that she was blessed with the gift of gab. She was loved and will be missed by many. Surviving are two daughters, Deborah (James) Pratt, Westfield and Julia (Thomas) DeNight, Ridley Park, PA; a special friend, Diane Dalgaard, Quarryville PA; three step children; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Wolbert (Bud) Parker, Virginia was predeceased by three brothers, a sister, and a step son.
