He was born Dec. 7, 1914, the son of Louis and Rose Sester Seyller.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a former partner in Seyller Brothers Inc., of Elgin.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi Moyer, whom he married Oct. 19, 1946, in Elgin; two sons, Roger Seyller of Charleston, S.C., and Phillip (Wendy) Seyller of Carpentersville; a granddaughter, Brittany Seyller of Carpentersville; two stepsons, Wayne Liedberg of Salt Lake City, Utah, and James Liedberg of Elgin; two brothers, Arthur (Frances) Seyller of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Bernard (Pat) Seyller of DeKalb; a sister, Caroline Spolum of Elgin; and four step-grandchildren, Lori, Dawn, Heidi and Steve Liedberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elgin, with prayers at 12:45 p.m. at the O'Connor and Homier Funeral Home, Elgin, the Rev. Michael Morrissey officiating. Burial will be in River Valley Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home with a rosary at 6:15 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
