Funeral Services Will Be Held Saturday for War Veteran
Funeral services for Russell Bryan Thorp, 45, postal clerk, of 830 1/2 Armstrong avenue, Kansas City, Kansas, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Eads chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery. He had been a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, all his life with the exception of World war service in France, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mabel Thorp of the home; a brother, Raymond R. Thorp, 4801 Roanoke road, and five sisters, Mrs. Robert Hartley, 3507 East Thirty-fourth street; Mrs. Thomas Stanley, 3950 Walnut street; Mrs. Magmus Winkler, 632 Myrtle avenue; Mrs. Ernest Stahl, Emporia, and Mrs. Leta Richmond, 2800 Joyce road.
