There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be Tuesday in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta. Brintlinger’s-Pershing Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Abbott was born in Decatur, son of Charles and Lulu May Abbott. He was a retired meat cutter from Gneckow Grocery, after 40 years. He married Nevada Rosemond Nein in 1931. She died in 1976. Surviving are his son, Thomas Harold of Oakley; step-son, Bernard E. Weakley of Grandbury, Texas; sisters, Alma Lulu Abbott and Lillian Cater, both of Decatur; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren. One son, one daughter, and one grandchild preceded him in death.
