Jesse E Aker was the son of Jesse Edwin (Jack) Aker and Annie Moody, born in Newburn TN. He is entombed with his wife, Laverne Smith-Aker in the Montecito Memorial Park, Court of Hope Masoleum. Jess and his brother, Emery Mel Aker, both married sisters, Laverne Smith and Florence Etta Smith in Jonesboro Arkansas before coming to CA in the 1940's.
