James "Jamie" Todd Wilson, 37, of Rice Lane in Stanford, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at his residence. Born Friday, September 12, 1975 in Lincoln County, he was the son of Robert "Hoot" Wilson Waynesburg and the late Phyllis Berry Wilson. Jamie was a US Army Veteran, worked for Asplundh Tree Expert Company, and loved to spend time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, Jamie leaves behind five sons, Justin Todd Wilson of Gravel Switch, Travis Duane Wilson and Tristan Leah Wilson both of Stanford, Derek Ray Wilson of Mercer County, and Dalton Alexander Wilson of Stanford; three brothers, Jerry David Wilson (Marie Ann) of Stanford, Roger Allen Wilson (Nita) of Casey County, and Billy Shane Wilson of Boyle County; a paternal grandmother, Doris Culbertson; a future daughter-in-law, Dana Wesley; a future grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Nathaniel Wallin, Jr. officiating the service. Burial will follow in Berry Cemetery with full military honors performed by the Caswell-Saufley Post #18. Justin Todd Wilson, Jerry David Wilson, Roger Allen Wilson, Billy Shane Wilson, Austin Wilson, and Trampus "Dutch" Berry will serve as Active Pallbearers.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the funeral home. Fox Funeral Home in Stanford is in charge of arrangements.
