Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Kautzer, 74, of St. Nazianz, who died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Christianson Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Gregory Putzer, S.D.S., will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Kautzer, nee Mary Stauber, was born Feb. 28, 1894, in the Town of Eaton, daughter of the late Ignatz and Theresa Glaeser Stauber. She was married to Joseph Kautzer at St. Gregory's Sept, 17, 1918. The couple farmed in the Town of Eaton until 1945 and then located in the Village of St. Nazianz. She was a member of the Christian Mothers.
Survivors include the husband; a daughter, Mrs. John Michels, of Chilton; a brother John, of Rt. 1, Kiel; two sisters Mrs. Louis Schweitzer of Kiel and Mrs. Ernest Voss of Rt. 2, Kiel, and four grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home this Wednesday evening where at 8 o'clock the Rosary will be recited.
