Clyde William born August 25, 1888, in Peach Grove, Clay County, Kansas.
In 1893, [his father] William made the run from the Kansas line into the Cherokee Strip, Grant county, Oklahoma. After a small house was built, the family moved by covered wagon to their new home.
One fall after the wheat was planted, Bill, Clemmie, Clyde and Royal went by covered wagon to visit the Gerardy family. The first night they camped on the Salt Fork, second on Cow Creek at Perry, the third at Perkins, and getting up early the fourth day, they arrived at the Gerardy home by driving late.
Needing more grass land, in 1902 the Bill Winsworth family moved to Kiowa County, [Oklahoma].
On April 12,1908 Clyde was married at Cooperton, Oklahoma, to Minnie Sota Sproule. [Their son] Ralph Jennings Winsworth was born May 29, 1910, at Portales, New Mexico. In 1913, Clyde and family were in Colorado. Their daughter, Wilma Sota Winsworth, was born July 21, 1923 at Tulsa, Oklahoma. On July 25, 1923 Clyde's wife died in Tulsa, leaving Ralph, age 13, and Wilma, four days old. [Clyde's] mother went to heIp, and at the end of the summer [his] father moved to Tulsa. [Around 1926 Clyde] married Anna Marie Washburn, who was born in Illinois about 1889. [Clyde] died March 3, 1956 Tulsa, Oklahoma.
