Sisto F. Aguilera, 76, of Hatch New Mexico passed away on Sunday April 2, 2017 at his home. Sisto was born March 24, 1941 to Sisto Aguilera and Petra Aguilera in Deming, New Mexico.

Sisto was a loving and caring man to everyone, he liked to joke around with his family and friends. Sisto enjoyed getting together with his family on the weekends for family cookouts and listing to music. Sisto enjoyed going hunting, and fishing and watching his western TV shows.

Sisto was survived by his sons Sisto Aguilera Jr., and his wife Pat, of Hatch, Jaime M. Aguilera of Las Cruces, Ronnie Molina and his wife Lisa of Portland, Maine; his daughter Joanne Amador and her husband Willie. His grandchildren Christopher Aguilera, and Randy Aguilera, Willie Amador and his wife Stacy, Joey Amador and his wife Destiny, Andrew Amador, and Sierra Marie Aguilera, Joey Robert Amador Jr, Ceclilia and Lindsay Molina, Aaden Valdez, Teigan Amador, Araceli and Marisa Segura, Donovin Aguilera, Zaydrian Pena. He is also survived by his sister Maria Aguilera Carreras of Hatch New Mexico, his step children Sandra Lucero and her husband Ernie and Teddy Segura.

Sisto was preceded in death by his wife Maria Aguilera in 1994 and his son Robert Aguilera in 1997.

Funeral services were held at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church, burial followed at the Garden of Memories where he was laid to rest.

Serving as pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

La Paz Graham's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
