Gertrude M. Henderson, 87, of Lincoln died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 in Lincoln.

She was born Aug. 19, 1921 at Grafton to Jacob and Carolina (Ackermann) Klundt.

She worked 34 years as a beautician and manicurist, most recently for Lucille Dueer, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church.

Family includes daughter and son-in-law, Carol Jane and Rickey Riehl, O'Fallon, Mo.; grandson and spouse, Michael Steven and Debbie Riehl; great-grandsons, Brendan and Hayden Riehl of Ballwin, Mo.; brother and sister-in-law, Otto and Eileen Klundt, Waco; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Darrell Blair, Castro Valley, Calif.

Services were held Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009 at Roper & Sons Chapel, 4300 "O" St., Lincoln with Rev. Dr. David Lux officiating. Burial was at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 26 at the Sutton Cemetery.
