Mrs. Linnie M. Sosebee, age 96, of Chatsworth passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Murray Medical Center. Mrs. Sosebee was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon B. Sosebee, Sr.; parents, John & Jennie Manley; two daughters; one son; six brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Vernon, Jr. & Janet Sosebee of Leesburg, AL and Howard Sosebee of Resaca; daughter, Erma M. Rommel of Chatsworth; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sosebee will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Gibson and Mr. Ricky Sosebee officiating. Interment will follow in the Casey Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday until the funeral hour.
