BRENT, Arlis Anthony Age 74 of Antioch, TN, passed away January 30, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Hermitage Funeral Home, with Dr. David Shelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens, with the nephews serving as Pallbearers and Lebanon Masonic Lodge #98 F&AM serving as Honorary Pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m., and visitation 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Van Eastman and Viola Castleman Brent; wife, Margaret Gann Brent; brothers, Edward and Van Brent; sisters, Wilhelmina Dyer and Frances Burnett. Arlis is survived by his sisters, Adelaide Freeman of Madison, TN, Melrose Johnson of Antioch, TN, Ruth Freeman of Old Hickory, TN, Ocye Harden of Montevallo, AL; brother, William Brent of Culleoka, TN; several nieces and nephews. Arlis served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from AVCO/Triumph Vought after 31 years of service.
