Nyda June Maroska, 81, of Fortville, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born June 4, 1931 in Fortville, IN to the late Cecil and Ethel (Whelchel) Caudell. June retired from the old United Telephone Company (now CenturyLink) in 1988 after 21 years service. June attended the Fortville Christian Church and enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. She is survived by son: Alan Maroska of Terre Haute; granddaughters: Megan (Greg) Martin and Morgan (Peter) Pluckebaum both of Indianapolis; great grandchildren: Lucille and Madeline Martin and Lucas Pluckebaum. June was preceded in death by her husband Bob Maroska in 2003; brothers: Jack, David and Bill Caudell and sister Virginia Grimm.

Friends may call on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A graveside celebration of June's life will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Gravel Lawn Cemetery with Jon Vance officiating. Burial will follow.
