CAMPBELL, Thomas R., 69, of Wheeling died Wednesday, September 19, 2012.

He was born June 1, 1943 in Buffalo, NY, son of the late George and Chloia Coon Campbell.

Tom was retired from the construction trade and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife Maria "Maggie" Myers Campbell in 2004; two children; Michelle Campbell of St. Clairsville, Michael Campbell and Brandyn Meininger of Pittsburgh, PA; a sister, Sally Martin of Wellston, OH; and five grandchildren, Laura and Brandon Henthorne, and Austin, Haleigh and Kadis Campbell.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of services at 8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling, with Pastor Gary Henthorne officiating.

Burial will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. in Parkview Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.

The Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct military services at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
