Caleb Kipp died at 6 o'clock last evening of enlargement of the liver. He had been sick for several months and death was expected. He was born in New York state and came to Illinois many years ago, engaging in farming. West of Elgin, a few miles, "Kipps corners' will bear his name perhaps for generations. He acquired considerable property and died in very comfortable circumstances at his home 234 Highland avenue. A wife and several children survive. Of the children, Granville lives in the far west, Warren is a citizen of Elgin. The funeral will be held at the house at 2 o'clock Saturday.
