Aaron Sheffey Graham, 84, of Skygusty in McDowell County died Wednesday August 8, 1962 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Sally Bell) Harman of Skygusty, where he had lived for the past four years. He suffered a heart attack.
Born June 20, 1878, he was a native of Tazewell, Va. and a son of the late William and Lavie Moore Graham.
Survivors include seven daughters; Mrs. Albert (Sally Bell) Harman of Skygusty, Mrs. Julie Greer of Anawalt, Mrs. Thomas (Virginia) Holland of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. John ( Robbie) Watts of Dallas, Tx., Mrs. Joe (Edna Mae) Freeman of Wilmington, De., Mrs. Ruby Casey of Ashland; three sons, Harry Graham of Anawalt and Albert and Judge Graham of Alexandria, Va.; 41 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Skygusty where he was a member with Rev. Burton Harman and Rev. Wiley Davis officiating and burial in Shady Grove Cemetery at Skygusty.
Bennett Funeral Home of Northfork is in charge.
Pallbearers: Harry, John and Carl Harman, Bob Day, Garland Wolf, and Travia Barber. Grandchildren will carry flowers.
