Jerry Fredrick Droege, age 79, of 156 E. Academy St., Asheboro died Monday, October 8, 2012 at Randolph Hospital.
Mr. Droege was born on May 15, 1933 to Norman and Irene Magill Droege. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was formerly employed with Wells Fargo. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Constance Dempsey Droege, son Michael Dempsey, grandson Beau McAllister, and brother Norman Michael Droege.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim Santiano of Asheboro, Karen McAllister of Hanover, MA; grandchildren, Kristina McAllister, Amy Sherwood, Justin Santiano, Cody Eaton, Jesse Eaton, and Savannah Eaton.
A private service will be held at a later date.
