Mrs. Alport was a sales associate for Woolf Brothers, Plaza Store, for 11 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Congregation B'nai Jehudah and Hadassah. Mrs. Alport was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Alport, in 1960. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Gerald William and Sandra Alport, Glen Rock, NJ; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Steve Abend, Kansas City, MO; sisters, Anne Test, Kansas City, MO, Pearl Novorr, Westwood Village, CA, Doris Lee, Ponca City, OK, and Neva Bennett, Stamford, CT; and seven grandchildren.
