OBITUARY : Michael J. "Mick" Litrun, 67, of Jeannette, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 3, 1945, in Penn, a son of the late Michael and Ivy Lewis Litrun. Prior to retirement, he worked as a field service engineer for 35 years with WESTINGHOUSE and SIEMENS servicing the power generation industry. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette, Manor Valley Golf Club, where he was this year's club champion, Siemens Golf League and Hilltop Golf League. Mick was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He spent a lot of time at "the farm" with the Brockey family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alex Litrun. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 46 years, Sally Chanoski Litrun; and two sons, Shawn Litrun, of Manor, and Jamie Litrun, of Houston, Texas. He was the loving Pap of Olivia and Benjamin Litrun. He is also survived by a brother, Martin Litrun and his wife, Elizabeth, of Penn; loving sister-in-law, Judy Harchelroad, of Jeannette, and her children, Jessica Thomas, of Level Green, and Gene Harchelroad, of Jeannette; sister-in-law, Amber Litrun, of Jeannette, and her son, Jeremy; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church, 504 Cowan Ave., Jeannette, with Father John Foriska as celebrant. Private entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
