MRS. MABLE HICKS ADAMS, 69, died at 2 a.m. today at her home, 1362 Center St., following a one-year illness. The body is at Eakin and Johnson Funeral home, where services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jimmy Stewart is to officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, John Q. Adams; a daughter, Mrs. C.O. Smith, Rockfield; two sisters, Mrs. John Cardwell, Bowling Green, and Mrs. J.P. Smithers, North Vernon, Ind.; a brother, Tom Hicks, Hadley, and three grandchildren.
