She first married Clinton Howard Harlan but they divorced about 1936. She second married Elias Julien sometime before 1940.

"Albertina Julien

A resident of Modesto 20 years, Albertina Elizabeth Julien, 83, died yesterday in a local convalescent hopsital after a long illness.

Born in Raymond, Madera County, she had lived in California all her life. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Modesto and the Jenny Lind Lodge 388 of Turlock.

Survivors are two daughters, Edna Alford of Denair and Pearl Bertolero of Modesto; a son, Earl Harlan of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two step-daughters, Virginia Lindquist and Elaine Beatty, both of Santa Clara; a brother, Harry Larsson of Turlock; a sister, Dollie Casuarang of Ahwahnee; 14 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First Church of the Nazarene, with the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in charge. Burial will be in the Madera Cemetery." END
