Mr. Mooers came to the Orofino, Idaho from the coast in 1899 and homesteaded on Orofino Creek. He moved to Seattle in 1921, and since the death of his wife Emma King-Mooers in 1934 and had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Millie Mooers-Jones of Seattle.
He came to Orofino, Idaho October 10, 1936 to spend the winter with his children. Mrs. Bertha Seiffert, Fred Mooers and Cully Mooers. He is survived by nine children including Leland Mooers, Eugene, Oregon; Frank Mooers, Deer Park, Washington; Crede Mooers, Grand Coulee; King Mooers, Renton, Washington; Clarence Mooers, Seattle, Washington; one brother Florence Mooers of Seattle, Washington.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday October 30th from the W.A. Shaw Chapel. The Body will be shipped to Seattle for burial at the Washelli cemetery.
