Goree- Mrs. Ora O. Coffman, 96, a pioneer resident of Goree, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday in the Knox County Hospital after a long illness. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Goree.

The Rev. Kiely Young, Pastor, will officiate, with burial in the Goree Cemetery under direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.

Born Feb. 3, 1876, at McGregor, she married Marsh W. Coffman in 1893 in McGregor. He died in 1954.

She moved to Knox County in 1893, living there since that time. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors are a son, Dude of Goree; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Graves of Odessa; a granddaughter, Mrs. Tommye Harlan of Lubbock; a great granddaughter, Mrs. Beverly Bellinghausen of New Orleans, LA; a great-great grandson, Chris Bellinghausen of New Orleans, LA.

Pallbearers will be Les Jameson, T.J. Trainham, Mack Tynes, Elmer Hutchens, Edward Melton, and Louis Hutchens
