Mrs. Hedgepeth, 92, died Nov. 17, 2006, at her home. She wasborn on May 2, 1914, to Robert Lee Polk and Annie Andrews Polk.
She was a retired seamstress with Monticello Kellwood Manufactory. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Mack Hedgepeth Sr.; herparents; her brothers, T.J. Polk and Kenneth Polk; and her sisters,Mazie King and Eula Lee Hedgepeth.
Survivors are her son, Mack Hedgepeth Jr. and his wife, Mildred,of Monticello; her daughter, Willodene H. Wilson and her husband,Dick, of McComb; her sister, Leone P. Howard, of Crystal Springs; her grandchildren, Brenda W. Tyson, Mitchell Hedgepeth, Janet Reid,Jason Lee Hedgepeth, Sandra Reeves and Joseph Wilson; sevengreat-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
