Son of Frank and Amie Hays Haymaker. He married Amy Roana Hays 13 March 1879 in Gilmer County, West Virginia. He served in the Civil War as a private, with Company "C", 11 Pennsylvania Cavalry. Enlisted 8/15/1864; discharged 1865. Length of Service: 1 year. Address: Arnoldsburg, WV. Disability Incurred: Rheumatism. Mr. Haymaker was a farmer and lived to be 49 years old. He died of a heart related problem.
