James Thomas "Jay" Mills II -MACON- James Thomas "Jay" Mills II, 18, of 1870 Twin Pines Drive, died Sunday, September 22, 2002. Services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2002, at 11:00AM at Hillcrest United Methodist Church with Dr. Jim Dant and the Reverend Rex Odom officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. -The family may be contacted at 1490 Clay Drive. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to AFLAC Cancer Center at the Children's Health Care of Atlanta, 687 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329. -Jay attended Highland Hills Baptist Church. He was an honor graduate of Tattnall Square Academy and was a freshman at the University of Georgia. He was Vice President of his senior class at Tattnall Square Academy and was voted Most Friendly Senior Superlative of his class. He was a member of the Valentine Court for three years and his senior year, he was a member of the Homecoming Court. He was a member and Vice President of Beta Club. -Survivors: Parents, Rosie Mills and Phineas E. Mills of Macon; Grandmother, Murrell P. Mills of Macon; Aunt, Paige McWhorter of Macon; Cousin, Brett-Harte McWhorter of Macon; Grandmother, Martha M. Clay of Macon; Aunts and uncles, Patty and Billy Thorne of Macon, Carol and Gary Glaze of Douglasville, Ruth and David Schechter of Satellite Beach, FL, and Kathy Renzo of Macon; Many other cousins. -Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
