Note From FAG Member:

I think I've found John Henry Webster, this seems to be him.

He was born Aug. 10, 1846 at Plymouth; married first 19 May 1882 Arvilla Barnard; married second 05 Jan 1887 at Franklin (Merrimack County) to Clara Estelle Heath; died Apr. 9, 1912 at Franklin.

DEC:
Name: John H. Webster
Death Date: 09 Apr 1912
Death Place: Franklin, Merrimack, New Hampshire
Cause: Cerebral hemorrhage
Age: 65-7-23
Birthdate: 16 Aug 1846
Birthplace: Manchester [no]
Marital Status: Married
Spouse: n/l
Father: William Webster, potter
Father's Birthplace: Plymouth
Mother: Laura Harriman
Mother's Birthplace: Plymouth
Burial Place: West Plymouth Cemetery
Burial Date: 12 Apr 1912

Apart from a smallish transcription error on the death record extraction, everything seems to agree. There is of course no such place as "West Plymouth Cemetery."

What's odd is that his wife Clara Estelle Heath's death record says she is buried at Franklin (generally indicates Franklin Cemetery) and somebody has made a page for her there:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=112637542

I always thought it was strange that he would be one place and she another, but I guess stranger things have happened. Now that I've found John, I'm not so sure Clara is buried at Franklin, despite what the death record indicates.

DEC:
Name: Clara A. Webster
Death Date: 08 Apr 1931
Death Place: Franklin, Merrimack, New Hampshire
Cause: Arteriosclerosis
Age: 88-1-0
Birthdate: 08 Mar 1843
Birthplace: Bristol
Marital Status: Widowed
Spouse: n/l
Father: Stephen Heart [Heath]
Father's Birthplace: Bristol
Mother: Nancy Taplin
Mother's Birthplace: Salisbury
Burial Place: Franklin
Burial Date: 10 Apr 1931

Anyway, the page at Franklin Cemetery for Clara (Heath) Webster has all the dates and places right, I think. If I had to guess I'd say Clara is buried here and is missing a death date because they had no children together (she was first married to Jeremiah Atwood and had a couple of children). I have no idea how this might work out - I might feel one thing, and somebody else another. I don't think the paper records are going to prove it either way. There might not be more than a small handful of people who even know who Clara (Heath) Webster is/was, either, so it may not be terribly significant :)
