Clarence Homburg Collins, 77, died Sept. 10, 1976, in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient nine days. A native of Logansport, he sold shoes for Utter Shoe Store and Frank's Shoes for 43 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and served as financial secretary of the church for 34 years.
On Sept. 16, 1928, he was married at Marion to Eulah Lee Randolph and she survives with three daughters, Georgia (Mrs. Vernon) Sparger of Indianapolis, Betty (Mrs. William) Avery of Hastings, MI, and Karen (Mrs. John) Siemers of Lafayette. Services were held Sept. 13 in Hippensteel Chapel, Pastor H.C. Stolldorf officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
