Novilia Barton
CROSS PLAINS -- Novilia Barton, 87, of Rising Star died Sunday at a Brownwood hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Dwain Clower
officiating. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
Mrs. Barton was born in Cameron and was a Baptist and a homemaker. She married Cleo
Barton in 1928 in Brownwood; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Cecil Barton of Cross Plains; one sister, Myrl Woods of
Baytown; one granddaughter, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Cross Plains EMS.
