Darold, Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Tuesday, October, 2, 2012 at his home in Merrill, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 75. Red was born to the late Charles and Thelma (Erskine) Agle.
He married Phyllis Pratt on November 5, 1960 at the Wheeler Free Methodist Church. Red enjoyed his chocolate lab Sophie, camping, golfing, ice fishing for walleye on the Saginaw River, hunting, watching his grandchildren play sports and was an avid Tigers Fan.
He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis of 52 years, children Scott Agle of Merrill, Kellee (David Allen) Taylor of Midland, Kathy (Brett) Cooper of Breckenridge, four grandchildren Kyle and Kent Cooper of Breckenridge and Kelsey and Kaylee-Shay Taylor of Midland. Also brother Charles (Joyce) Agle of St. Louis, sister Gwen (Jack) Durham of Riverdale and many nieces and nephews.
Red was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Laurie Helen Agle, brother Eugene Agle and mother and father-in-law Aldis and Laura Pratt.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Lux and Whiting Funeral Chapel, Breckenridge with Pastor Kurt Peters officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mid-Michigan Hospice, Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund of Gratiot County or Breckenridge Little League Baseball.
