Mrs. Ida M. Rutledge, 77, died at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at her home 215 North Ward street, Ottumwa, Iowa. She was the daughter of Abel and Susan Bott and was born Jan. 17, 1865 in Van Buren county. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 50 years and was a member of the First Methodist church and of Chapter G, P. E. O.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Donald M. Rutledge of New York City, Edward P. Rutledge of Annville, Pa., and Mrs. Fred W. Lerche of Ottumwa. Five grandchildren and one great grandson also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Rutledge, who died in 1931, and by two sons, Harry Rutledge and Robert Rutledge.

Funeral services were held at the Johnson Funeral Home in Ottumwa at 2 p.m.Tuesday, Oct. 6, Rev. Herbert A. Keck, D. D. in charge, with burial in Ottumwa cemetery.
