Lucille L. Vogel, age 98, passed away on April 13, 2012 at St Mary's Nursing Home in Velician Village, Manitowoc, WI. Born in Talbot, MI on May 7, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Joseph K. Bayer, Sr.
She grew up in Peshtigo and graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1932.
Lucille retired from the Peshtigo School system as a cook. In 1995, she moved away from Peshtigo at the age of 82 to be closer to her daughter and caretaker Carol.
Lucille is survived by her children: Joan (LeRoy) Schmidt of Menominee Falls, WI; Nola Slavik of Orange, CA; Terry Vogel of Harlem, MT; Mary Sager of Valencia, CA; Carol Diedrich of Manitowoc, WI; Linda McCrossin of Green Bay, WI and Dennis 'Sonny' Vogel of West Bend, WI;
her foster child, Kyle Barnes of Green Bay, WI;
13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Michael Vogel. Burial at Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo, WI.
