A victim of cerebral hemorrhage while on his way home from a holiday visit in Dallas, Joe E. Dalton, former bond and insurance salesman will be buried in Dallas after services in the Hillcrest Mausoleum at 4:30 p.m.

He died early Sunday in a hospital at Midland. When stricken, he wa on his way to Tucon, Arizona, where the family recently moved. He had been a resident of Dallas for twenty-five years.

Dalton was a Methodist and a member of Trinity Valley Masonic Lodge and Hella Temple Shrine.

The Masons will assist the Rev. Wesley C. Davis in conducting the services.

Joseph Ezra "Joe" Dalton was the son of James Thomas Dalton and Georgia Ann Duncan Dalton. Joe had three sisters; Hollie Datson Dalton Cook, Mandy Louise Dalton Grisham, and Annie Irene Dalton Bingham, four brothers; John Granvill Dalton, Samuel Thomas "Sam" Dalton, Jaames Manul "Jim" Dalton, and Elmer "Bud" Dalton.
