Mrs. West was born in Smithville, Tenn., came to Muncie several years ago and moved to Townsville 3 years ago. For 30 years she was a cook in the shop cafeteria at Warner Gear Division (now Borg-Warner Automotive) before she retired in 1970.
She attended North Walnut Street Church of the Nazarene, Townsville.
Survivors include three daughters, Irene Krouse, Yorktown, Virginia Koons (husband-Donald), Townsville, and Jeraldean French (husband-James), Tennessee; six sons, Earl West (wife-Hazel) and Bill West (wife-Sharon K.), both of Muncie, Raymond West, Ohio, Aaron West (wife-Ethel), Gaston, Robert West, Yorktown, and Leonard West (wife-Judy), Sparta, Tenn.; three brothers, Clarence Waggner (wife-Ethel), Houston Waggner and Junior Waggner, all of Smithville, Tenn.; 35 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel, with Rev. Rollin Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling will be 4-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
