Lyle V. Groen, 91, died Friday, July 20 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Funeral service will be Monday, July 23 at 2:00 pm at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica with burial following in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 22 from 2 to 4 pm with a 3:00 pm prayer service at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Parkston.
He is survived by his wife, Grace of Mitchell and 5 children: Doris Spaans and husband, Andy of Mitchell; Betty Strehlow and husband, Tom of Timberlake, SD; Jane Gerlach and husband Ronald of Stickney, SD; Lois Lubbers and husband, Duane of Excelsior, MN; and Dick Groen and wife, Pam of Mitchell.
Memorial may be directed to Grace Reformed Church organ fund and would be preferred in lue of flowers.
