Ed was born on May 22, 1946 in Beaumont, Texas to Al and Ann Von Feldt. He was one of nine children.
Ed attended St. Francis De Sales High School.
Ed served four years as a US Marine, one tour in Vietnam and 2 years in Belgium at the US Embassy.
Above and beyond his military career and life accomplishment, Ed was most proud of raising his 3 girls; Elicia (Doug), Christi (Brett), and Peri. Ed had 4 beautiful grandchildren: Gage, Alena, Asher, and Aislyn, which gave him great joy.
Ed is survived by his mother, Ann; siblings; Gloria (Truman), Kamela (Brian), Barry (Wendie), Lesley (Jack), John (Annie), Michael, Fred, and Jeff (Kim), plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
Interment was Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
