Harry W. Cunningham, age 65, died at 9:20 o'clock last night at his home, 16 1/2 W. Washington St., following an illness of several years.
Mr. Cunningham was born in Nelsonville. He attained a prominent place in the coal mining industry, serving as superintendent of the Ohio Collieries Co. mines in the valley and holding several other positions of importance.
He retired because of ill health in February, 1932, after having served as guard at the Bank of Athens for eight years. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Odd Fellows.
