Mrs. Bessie Lee Dupeck, 99, died Sunday, February 6, 1994, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Blytheville.
Born October 3, 1894 at Steele, Mo., Mrs. Dupeck was the daughter of the late Dixie Still and Elvira Gibson Still.
She was united in marriage with Albert Dupeck Sr. in 1923. He preceded her in death July 15, 1968.
Her only son, Albert Dupeck Jr., was lost at sea when his ship, the USS Indianapolis, was sunk July 30, 1945.
Mrs. Dupeck leaves two nieces and their husbands, Marilyn and Bill Quinn and O'Nita and Bobby McClure, all of Steele.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dupeck were held Tuesday, February 8, 1994, at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele with Father Dan Hertz officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Bill Quinn, Dale Nunnery, Gary Coleman, Eddie Jarboe, Tom Albritton and Buck Whitfield.
