Redfield -- Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Coleman Funeral Chapel in Redfield for Mrs. Wilkie Harford 66, who died Wednesday at the Redfield Community Hospital.
Mrs. Harford was born in Walton, Ind. Sept. 20 1892. She came to South Dakota with her parents in 1907, locating near Ashton. She married John Harford in 1913 at Athol. They lived in Athol until 1919 when they moved to Redfield.
Mrs. Harford is survived by her husband; two sons, Cecil, Miller; and Wendell, Redfield; six daughters, Mrs. Dora Esser, Redfield; Mrs. Geneva Hofemann, Tulare, Mrs. Gladys Royce, Rome, N.Y.; Mrs. Arlene Ewing, Hill City; and Mrs. Dorothy Oliver, Yokahama, Japan.
She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Maybell Harford, La Junta Colo.; and Mrs. Mildred Tieman, Bellingham, Wash.; three brothers, Floyd Collins, Rapid City; Garold Collins, Portland, Ore.; and David Collins, Bakersfield Calif.; 22 Grandchildren and; two great grandchildren. On daughter preceded her in death.
The Rev. John Shield will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Athol Cemetery. Six grandsons will act as pallbearers.
