Age 83, Interment was in the Family burial ground at Ditchley. Born at "Ditchley Hall" The ancestrial home of the Balls and Lees. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Flexmer Ball of Ditchley and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Hall Ball, of Ditchley; two daughters, Mrs Barton H. Marshall of Hyattsville, Mrs. John Locke Coates of South Pasadena CA. Three sons, Cecil R. Ball of the faculty of the University of MD, College Park, MD, Charles F. Ball Jr. of Ditchley, and Neville G. Ball of Mt. Holly; a brother, J. Wilmot Ball, of Baltimore MD.
