Born July 26, 1935, in Jeremiah, Ky., he was a son of the late Dexter and Dixie Caudill.
On Sept, 25, 1954, in Kentucky, he married the former Mary Lee and she survives along with a daughter, Amber Marie (Scott) Fergus of Russells Point; sons, Robert Neal (Robin) Caudill, Gary Dale (Shelly) Caudill and Jason Dale (Amy) Caudill, all of Columbus, and Kenneth Wayne (Sue) Caudill of Howard; grandchildren, Nicole, Laura and Kelly; and great-grandchildren, Nathon, Alivia, Tori, MaryJane, Ryder, Jackson, Ella, Adisyn and RuthAnne.
He worked at Willamette Industries for 35 years and enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He attended the Huntsville United Methodist Church.
Pastor Bryan Meadows conducts a funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
