She was born on April 25, 1931 in New Bethlehem, the daughter of Louis A., Sr. and Leona M. (Reinsel) Aaron. Evelyn attended Immaculate Conception School and later graduated from Saint Benedict Academy in Erie. On November 25, 1954, she married Harold E. Seitz. They were married for 57 years. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2012. She worked as a clerk at White's Appliances and Brown's Boot Shop both in Clarion. Evie was well known for always having her camera with her and photographing the people she met and served at the stores. She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Ladies Guild in Clarion.
She is survived by her brothers, Charles (Phyllis) Aaron of Shippenville, and Gerald A. Aaron of Clarion; and her sisters, Betty Vargochik of Streator IL and Helen Burkett of Blazedale NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis A. Aaron and Bernard J. Aaron.
Visitation will be held at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion on Thursday at 11:00am with Father Monty Sayers officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Immaculate Conception School in Clarion.
