Aaron J Habermehl, 20, of Brewster died April 23, 1998, in the Central Washington Hospital at Wenatchee.

Aaron was born January 5, 1978, the son of James and Cathy Habermehl at Nampa, Idaho. They moved to Pierre, South Dakota and in 1982 the family moved to Brewster. He graduated from Brewster High School in 1996.

Aaron played varsity basketball and baseball. He was an outstanding student and was involved in student government. Upon graduation, he started as a business major at WSU. Aaron fought a difficult battle with cancer and was overtaken by Hodgkins disease after eighteen long committed months. He was determined, intelligent and a loving human being who will be missed by those lived he touched.

Aaron was a member of the Brewster Water Ski Club.

He is survived by his parents, James and Cathy at the home in Brewster, a sister, Tara at the home in Brewster, grandmother Jean Habermehl of Columbia, Illinois, two aunts and their families, a special friend Kellie Rieb of Brewster.

Services were conducted Saturday, April 25, 1998, at 2 pm from the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Brewster, with Jim Frey officiating. Interment followed in the Brewster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the scholarship fund in Aaron's memory.

Services under the direction of Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
