Tom was a native of Barren Co, Ky, attended Chestnut Grove School, and member of a large, loving family. He was resident of Louisville most of his life. He was husband of Helen 'Margaret' Coffey [1907-1994], d/o Thomas R Coffey & Alice May Redmond. Tom and Margaret had 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter. He was a retired engineer for L&N Railroad. Uncle Tom had a warmth about him; friendly. As they aged, he, his brother Judge and sister Mallie looked so much alike, as if triplets. It was remarkable to me.

OBITUARY:
W.T. Jackman, Sr, 78, of Central Ave, died Friday at Suburban Hospital. He was a native of Glasgow and a retired engineer for L&N RR. Survivors include his wife, the former Margaret Coffey; daughter, Mrs Mary Ann Menting; two sons, Robert J and Wm T Jackman, Jr; a sister, Mallie Jackman Smith; 7 grandchildren. Funeral services directed by O. D. White & Sons, S. 3rd St; burial in Calvary Cemetery.
